The Faunia was launched in 2001. It was previously called the Parque Biológico de Madrid. This park depicts the ways in which the wildlife and plant life has acclimatised to the changing and diverse environment of the world. There are ten conservatories in Faunia, and it is not like a regular zoo or a park. Technology has been used to mimic the different environments of the word. There are more than 720 species and 4000 animals. The Faunia was launched with the aim to educate people about plant life and wild life to help protect the world.
